wonders never cease

MONDAY, JANUARY 25th, 2010 loopy for you.
It is true that winter days make us want to curl up at home with a cozy, woolen project (knitting and crocheting, naturally). It is also true that some of us are on an apparent 20-year plan to finally finish the scarf we started in the 80s. And it is woefully true that we just don't know how to knit or crochet with any level of skill or creativity anymore. So we picked up a hip crochet book, a handy guide to knitting, and reams of beautiful, hand-dyed wool from the local experts at Solitude Farm. Anyone interested in joining our merry band? We'll provide the space, a teacher*, and hot cider. What would you like to create? What is your knitting-class dream? Comment below...
*In our gathering of materials, we didn't forage for a teacher. So let us know if you'd like to lead a class or two (or if you know someone particularly adept at wool-working).
